After these interviews, Adam McKay might be one of my favorite people in the world.
A couple weeks ago on the "Late Show" with Stephen Colbert, writer/director Adam McKay was on the show talking about his new movie he directed, "The Big Short".
But the greater story was McKay being in college with his friends and prank calling the Philadelphia Phillies GM (who was at the time) Bill Giles, to make a trade. He pretend to be the Boston Red Sox GM (who was at the time) Lou Gorman.
Then McKay told another prank story on "Late Night" with Seth Meyers, about him prank calling "Saturday Night Live" executive Lorne Michaels. This happened when McKay was a writer for SNL and was in a late night meeting and was already tired of how slow the meeting was. So, he decided to call Lorne and pretend to be former New York Yankee manager Joe Torre.
It was hilarious. Please watch.
