I didn't know the video/song "N 2 Gether Now" was released in 1999 and I thought it was released a lot later than that; I thought more early 2000's.
Being how good this song sounds, it's no surprise it was released in the 90s.
I legitimately grew up to Limp Bizkit. When I started getting into music he was one of the first ever CD I bought. I even bought two of his albums; "Significant Other" -- which N 2 Gether Now is a track in -- and "Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavor Water". I was about 10-years-old when I bought those albums.
It was a fun time in music. You had a lot of white rappers coming out of woodwork like Bizkit, Kid Rock and -- the one who turned out to be one the greatest of all-time -- Eminem.
But they were good, white rappers. They had a good sound to them and all had their own style; Bizkit was this punk rock looking rapper, Kid Rock had this country style of hip-hop, then Eminem was just straight up hood - gangsta rapper.
Limp Bizkit aka Fred Durst, was a damn good rapper -- you can say he was underrated. A lot better than the rappers we have today.
"N 2 Gether Now" is pretty much was everyone whose 25-years-old and over, misses in music. This song and even the video had everything you want. One good rapper and the other is a legend in Method Man, from Wu-Tang Clan, and the beat is one of the best of I've ever heard.
The beat is a typical Wu-Tang Clan style. The group is known to being armored with Chinese movies. As you can tell the beat has this cultural, Asian sound to it, mixed in with a hip-hop base and also the video is made as a Chinese, fighting movie. So artistic and different -- I love it.
